Seeking an experienced Quality Manager to be responsible for collaborating with production and operations for the implementation and adherence of all quality systems. Excellent career opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain current Intertek AS9100 & ISO9001 aerospace certifications.
- Maintain & update QMS manual as required for procedures and work instructions.
- Well versed in document control and revision controls.
- Lead both internal and external audits including customer and accredited registrar audits.
- Mangae continuous quality improvement initiatives and risk assessments.
- Reduce overall operation cost by monitoring and reducing customer complaints, rework, processes & procedures, product loss/defects and increasing prevention activities and training.
- Create a quality culture throughout the organization that promotes quality conformance as a business strategy for improving our service offerings and brand image.
- Perform final inspections and sign-off of daily deliverable products.
- Identify and communicate any quality issues or non-conformances to staff and directly to customer as required.
- Lead and generate corrective actions and RMAs initiated internally or externally.
- Experienced with inspection tools like coordinate measurement machines, microscopes, calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
- Maintain instrument calibration schedules and logs.
- Manage raw material inspections, inventory procedures, and material industry standards.
- Perform supplier evaluations, supplier CARs, and maintain supplier status in the MRP system.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree.
2. 3 or more years of Quality Management experience.
3. 2 or more years of AS9100 Quality Systems experience.
